After many years of pain control, I was persuaded to have a Spinal Cord Stimulator. However on insertion it was found impossible to proceed as there were
problems in the epidural space. The tissue was gritty, hard & brittle and there was no fluid. When a lead was finally inserted, at 1/10th the normal
voltage, my whole body was 'lit up' it was excruciating. It was concluded that there was too little fat as well. So now I'm left with nothing in

give everyone some background information.
I am 25 years old, and have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, facet disease, and spinal stenosis. I have had two surgeries. The first was in 2005.
It was just a microdiscectomy on the right side, and after the surgery I had some minor pain but was okay shortly after. Then, in...

Hi.

I had back surgery just over 3 years ago and ever since I have been living in chronic pain. To assist with the pain relief I have had 2 failed ESI's, the
first time, the Dr couldn't get the needle in, the last one, the Dr. said, she had to force her way through scar tissue to administer the drug. My
condition deteriorated and I had another MRI. The results of that were an admittance that there is scar tissue wrapped around the nerves in the region of L4 to
S2. Is this...
