I'm relatively new to the group. I was officially dx with A & CES in August after having a L4/L5/S1 fusion and laminectomy in Dec '05 to correct a grade 4 congenital spondylolisthesis. I'll admit that the worst part of everything is just getting decent medical care after my surgeon ignored all my post-surgical complications, then left his practice. The pain is bad enough without doctors not wanting to treat arachnoiditis or CES.

In all fairness, I think 60mgs of Cymbalta gives me as much relief as the 25mu Duragesic patches did and MORE than the 40mg Oxycontin did without all that blasted physical fatigue.
